UN1010 - Resources
UN1010, a first-year seminar course provides an introduction to strategies for creating academic, professional, and personal success. The course places an emphasis on determining individual priorities, improving self-management, and developing critical thinking skills. Guided journal writing will be used to explore these strategies.
UN1010 is taught in the fall semester to first-year students living in the residential Learning Communities. In the spring, students who were placed on academic probation after their first semester at Tech are enrolled in the course. UN1010 is taught by professional staff and faculty instructors who are assisted by an undergraduate upper-class teaching assistant or TA.
